We entered class silently

Mikey read his blog

Mikey soon picked me decidedly

I asked Vance to help in the fog

We talked about the poem for long

The poem was, "There Are Birds Here" by Jamaal May

Soon after we made our own poems, mine was not very strong.

Some people shared their poems today.

Finally, Ms. Nakada gave us some time.

Time to finish our displays for Open House.

However, I was already done with the climb.

Class was quiet enough to hear a mouse.

Soon the bell was heard through the halls.

As the journey to the next class calls.
