week 12: Question
NaPoWriMo: catch up!
hw: Read and write a poem a day
Today, we walked into the classroom and settled down in our seats. Everyone started talking, and Ms. Nakada waited patiently for us to be quiet. Once everyone was quiet, we wrote our agenda down in our binder reminders for today. Then, we started to take a minute, which I thought was very calm and made me relaxed. After we did our take a minute, we started reading the next blog. We went over the blog doing our corrections. Today was a good day. We didn't have anything wrong with the blog, so we were rewarded with a point. We then discussed the day we wanted to do pizza which the class decided to do it on Friday. Then, we started talking about our question. Today our question was "how can you develop mental toughness?" I think this was a very good question because there are lots of ways to develop mental toughness. This month we will be reading and writing two poems a day which I feel like is better than national novel writing month. We read two poems and both were very heart felt, I feel like they both had a deep meanings. We spent eight minutes writing two prompts, and Liam volunteered to read his poem called open wound which was really good in my opinion. Then, it was time to pack up, so we all put our stuff in out backpacks and waited for Ms. Nakada to release us.
