William

Molly -

Class started, as it often does. We all took our seats, wrote down the agenda, and read the blog. I was then chosen to be the next blogger. While doing corrections, William offered to go up with me. Luckily, he wanted to do it...

I did. You're welcome. Next, we watched the 2007 NFL halftime show, featuring the creator of this week's song, Prince. 👑💜! (SHOUT OUT MAYA, stay fearless.) This led to our discussion about Prince's streaming issues, but since he died, we can finally enjoy the legend himself. After, we took out our chromebooks, and started the week 14 quiz. Then, we wrote poems. QUITE delightful.

Next, we wrote poems for NaPoWriMo Day 23, and Sigi and Maya shared theirs. VERY GOOD. We proceeded to read, "Good Bones," by Maggie Smith, which was very pessimistic. (Shout out Hudson)

Once we finished reading, we watched a live reading of the poem, "My life stood a loaded gun," by Emily Dickinson, and a response poem, "Yellow Light." by the readers. The poem was very moving, and had a clear message.

To finish, we had some time to work on our NaPoWriMo submissions. William... STOP WRITING FOR ME. *breathes in and out slowly with anger.* During this time, we worked on the blog, and William showed me his poems. #Amazing! #Inspiring #If only I had Williams poet instincts.

As we were working, the bell rang, and we packed up. Ending another magical day in English class with Molly! I am so happy to be her friend! She is AMAZING!

(Disrespectful of Hartley to leave 😥).
